Tamura Yukari LOVE LIVE 2014 Spring *Fruits Fruits Cherry* incident in Osaka
An incident involving a troublemaker at Yukarin’s Osaka show earlier tonight is making some waves on twitter so I guess I’ll post an English account of events for people who are wondering what’s going on.
I only went to the Saitama shows last month, not Osaka, so this is mostly translated second hand from @evo_nana:
After opening the concert with “Go Happy” calls with the staff, Yukarin performed three songs and started the first MC of the night.
While she was talking about coming to Osaka before for her “I Love Rabbit” tour, a man walked up the center right aisle and stopped around the third row from the front.
He launched a plastic capsule at Yukarin which hit her in the skirt, causing her to react with shock. “Kya!! What’s this?”
Nearby fans immediately tackled the guy and the staff also ran in to restrain him.
Yukarin wanted to make sure her fans were ok and reassured them everyone is still good.
The assailant got escorted away while some of the audience jeered and yelled to throw him out.
Staffers also escorted Yukarin to stage side and another staff went on stage to explain the situation, that someone threw something at her, they’re questioning the man in the lobby, and halting the show for a bit but will restart it soon.
After about 10 minutes, a staff returned and said they’ll restart the show from the beginning.
To keep everyone’s spirits up while waiting, fans started doing mass circle rally calls of “Go Happy Yukarin.” Both first and second floors participated.
After a while the show started again. They redid the opening video and the first three songs.
When it was time for MC again, Yukarin repeated her introduction, “Good evening, I’m Tamura Yukari. Welcome to FFC, etc.”
She lightened the mood by cracking a bit of jokes about déjà vu. “Wait, haven’t I already said all this before? I dunno what else to talk about. So what did everyone eat last night?”
And during Acoustic corner MC she said
“Everyone sit down. Hurry! If you all sit down we can spot the bad guys more easily!”
And she also took a photo with the audience using her phone
For the rest of the night she did every song as usual and put on a smiling face for everyone, like it didn’t bother her at all.
Yukarin’s a champ. Even after an incident like this, rather than worry about herself, her main concern was trying to make sure fans know the show is fine, she’s fine, and stop them from worrying. She probably took the photo to show she still loves Osaka fans.
It’s this kind of thing that earns her some of the most loyal supporters in the seiyuu world.
In reality, this event is very serious because even though it was just a plastic capsule, the fact that he was able to go up the aisle, throw it, and actually hit her means it could have been much worse.
Yukarin’s first priority was to downplay it for her audience’s sake but I’m sure backstage there will be a lot of heated discussion over how to handle future events and security will be much more alert.
Update 1, via Yomiuri Online:
The suspect was identifed as a 34 year old company worker from Fukui. He’s been officially arrested and charged with forcible obstruction of business. The object thrown has also been clarified to be a small handheld radio.
Since the event went into overtime due to the delays, the previous person I quoted had to leave before the end, so I filled in some more details from other tweeters who stayed. After a valiant effort of smiling, there’s reports that Yukarin cried after the encore, during the MC before the last song. In tears, she addressed the crowd
"Does everyone need to go back?"
Audience responds “It’s fine.” Many fans stayed behind
"I’m really sorry I made you have some scary memories"
"But it was thanks to your help we were able to get to the end"
She sang the last song and thanked everyone at the end
"I love everyone"
It’s amazing that Yukarin still apologizes even though she has zero fault for this at all, but that’s the kind of person she is. The general reaction online seems to be major sympathies for her.
And to all the Yukari Kingdom members who missed the last train because they stayed until the end, cheers to you. In the coming days, various media will probably try to paint this as another example of “typical crazed fans” at these concerts, but that was just one guy. The other 2600 people who cried and cheered and worried about Yukarin as much as she worried about them, are the true fans.

突然ですがLOVE ME NOW！の振り付けを浸透させたいです。
さて、先日のSSA公演の後「LOVE ME NOW！をやってる人が少ない」というのをチラホラ目にしました。
なにより数少ない「公式な振付」なので（you & meのラップと同じですよ！）せっかくなので揃えたいところです。
というわけで、LOVE ME NOW!のポンポン振り付けをゆかたんに踊ってもらいました。
前置きが長くなりましたが、早い話がLOVE ME NOW!の振り付けを、フレーズごとにコマ送りでみれるようにしています。
とりあえず「LOVE ME NOW!」のジャンプだけでも見てください。（忠誠のポーズは28コマ目から）
